I credit my love of wine & food to my family. Our childhood was spent around a table, I have a profound love for hosting and providing coupled with a respect for nature and for people. I began as a cook from a very young age, before eventually finding allure in the subtleties of service.
I spent the better part of my adolescence working my way through wine bars and farm to table Montréal & Toronto institutions that are household names. I completed my degree in Hospitality Management. My first accolade came in the form of a Prud'Homme Master of Beer Certification where I began to refine my palate. The curiosity in wine continued; I had the privilege of working as sommelier at Momofuku Ko** in New York before a transition as assistant beverage director for Momofuku Group of restaurants in Toronto. In 2010 I seek to go further and the world of natural wine which at the time was beginning to boom again. France was calling, and after a flight to Paris with no plans I found my self at Vivant Deux where I spent 2 years as operations Partner & Sommelier for our family of restaurants.
